ABOUT THE FOUNDER

I have been involved in the field of sleep medicine with more than three decades of experience as a registered polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT), more commonly called a sleep technologist. I began work as a sleep technologist in 1985, where I developed an understanding of the impact of sleep and sleep disorders on an individual's health.

In 2000, I began writing articles for A2Zzz, a trade magazine that educates sleep workers about ongoing sleep research and developments in the sleep field. A2Zzz soon invited me to become one of its associate editors. I am currently its senior writer.

In 2009, I expanded my services to encompass proofreading and editing. In this endeavor, I offer my expertise to authors in various medical fields to enhance the clarity of their written content and to ensure they are conveying the message they want to convey. I continue to offer writing and editing services to numerous clients in the sleep field and in other medical fields.

I have been recognized for my dedication to educating sleep workers about sleep disorders and research findings as a recipient of the Dr. Allen DeVilbiss Literary Award in 2003 and the Peter A. McGregor Service Award in 2008. I am deeply honored to have been the recipient of these awards.
